Compositores nominados, compositores no nominados, fans de Jerry Goldsmith, aficionados de nuestros premios, gente que nos sigue en redes sociales, amantes de la música de cine en general.
Hoy es el día en que os desvelamos todos los detalles de nuestro primer Jerry Goldsmith Awards Festival.
En su 13ª edición los JGA dan un salto para ser los únicos protagonistas de un festival, uno realizado con el apoyo de muchas personas. Así que antes de nada queremos dar las gracias a aquellas marcas comerciales y profesionales que nos han apoyado para poder desarrollar los premios en sus dos sedes.
Sí, dos sedes.
Como bien habéis sabido por nuestras comunicaciones anteriores los premios tendrán dos fases bien diferenciadas que se justificaran por las dos sedes en donde se desarrollarán.
¿Cual es el proceso para conocer los ganadores de las diferentes categorías que forman parte de nuestros premios y el ganador de ganadores, el Golden Jerry?
Pues prestad atención. Os lo contamos:
Primera sede: Úbeda – Iglesia de San Lorenzo.
Fecha: Viernes 2 de Noviembre
Hora: 21:30.
Allí tendrá lugar la Gala de entrega de los Jerry Goldsmith Awards.
Nuestra principal gala, donde elegiremos los 8 ganadores de las 8 diferentes categorías que integran nuestros premios.
Allí se darán cita nuestros nominados, patrocinadores del Festival, aficionados y todo aquel que quiera y le apetezca ir. Para eso abriremos en breve un canal donde recibir vuestras peticiones de invitación.
Pero hay sorpresas:
Nuestra firme intención es hacer de los Jerry Goldsmith Awards unos premios internacionales en toda su globalidad. En otras entregas anteriores solo podían disfrutar de ella las personas que habían podido estar presentes durante la ceremonia.
Pero en esta ocasión hemos querido adaptarnos a la nueva sociedad de la tecnología de la comunicación en la que vivimos. Y convertir estos premios en algo global, algo realmente internacional en la que todos puedan participar y de la que todos puedan disfrutar.
Así, la gala se grabará en su totalidad para ser emitida en estreno internacional de la misma vía online a través del canal de YouTube de BSOSpirit, y promovida por nuestras redes y por las de los Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Eso será la semana siguiente.
El sábado 10 de noviembre. Ya sabéis, a ponerse guapos los que hayáis pensado en asistir.
Será una ocasión perfecta para llegar allí donde antes no podíamos. Independientemente de que la gala haya tenido lugar en Úbeda, todo el mundo podrá verla.
Una oportunidad única para sus nominados, participantes y patrocinadores de los premios.
Segunda sede: Los Ángeles. Hollywood.
Fecha: Miércoles 14 Noviembre
Hora: 16:00 – 22:00.
Allí tendrá lugar la entrega del Golden Jerry Goldsmith Award durante la ceremonia de entrega de los Hollywood Music In Media Awards.
Antes de ese mágico momento, un vídeo de nuestra pasada gala en Úbeda y de esta bella ciudad que dio pistoletazo de salida a estos premios hace 13 años, será proyectado para poner a todos los asistentes en situación.
Los 8 ganadores decididos días antes en Úbeda, tendrán la opción de optar al premio gordo y de recogerlo ante la mirada de centenares de grandísimos profesionales de la industria de Hollywood. Una experiencia única para los, ya ganadores de los Jerry Goldsmith y por supuesto, para aquellos que los acompañemos en este maravilloso camino.
Han sido días, semanas, mejor dicho, meses, muy intensos intentando conseguir lo mejor para estos premios. Unos premios que nos representan en toda su plenitud. Igual que lo hizo el espíritu de Jerry Goldsmith el compositor que da nombre a estos.
Finalmente creímos que Úbeda era el factor que nos faltaba en la formula. Comenzar el Festival de los Jerry Goldsmith Awards en el lugar que los vio nacer.
Y también pensamos en que el sitio ideal para una gala de este nivel y presencia mediática, debía de ser la Iglesia de San Lorenzo. Un lugar único en el mundo, con el que pudimos contar gracias al indispensable apoyo de la Fundación Huerta de San Antonio.
Repetimos nuestro infinito agradecimiento a todos aquellos que habéis participado en esta edición. A aquellos que seréis mecenas, patrocinadores o colaboradores. A todos los que nos ayudaréis estos días para hacer de este festival un referente a nivel internacional.
Esta semana seguiremos inundándoos de información porque somos conscientes de que queda muy poquito para la gala. Ahora solo queda decir aquello de: «Alea iacta est» ¡Que gane el mejor!

In its 13th edition, the JGA take a leap to be the only main event of a festival, one carried out with the support of many people. So first of all, we want to thank those commercial and professional brands that have supported us to be able to develop the awards in their two venues.
Yes, two venues.
As you well know from our previous communications, awards will have two well differentiated phases, justified by the two venues in where they will be present.
What is the process to know the winners of the different categories that are part of our awards and the winner of winners, the Golden Jerry?
Well, pay attention. In here we will tell you:
First venue: Úbeda – Church of San Lorenzo.
Date: Friday, November 2
Time: 21:30 p.m.
There we will present the gala of the Jerry Goldsmith Awards.
Our main gala, where we will unveil the 8 winners for the 8 different categories that conform our awards.
Our nominees, festival sponsors, fans and anyone who wants to go and be there, can. For that, we will son open a channel to receive your invitation requests.
But there are surprises:
Our firm intention is to make the Jerry Goldsmith Awards an real international awards in its entirety. In previous installments only people who had been able to be present during the ceremony could enjoy it.
But this time we wanted to adapt to the new society of communication technology in which we live. And turn these awards into something global, something really international in which everyone can participate and that everyone can enjoy.
Thus, the gala will be recorded in its entirety to be broadcast in international premiere online via the Youtube channel of BSOSpirit, and promoted by our networks and those of the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. That broadcast will be offered the following week after present them.
On Saturday November 10th. So you know, those who have thought of attending do not forget to look your best.
It will be a perfect opportunity to get where we could not before. Regardless of the gala taking place in Úbeda, everyone will be able to see it.

In there we will present the Golden Jerry Goldsmith Award during the ceremony of the Hollywood Music In Media Awards.
Before that magical moment, a video of our last gala in Úbeda and of this beautiful city that kicked off these awards 13 years ago, will be shown to put all attendees in a situation.
The 8 winners decided days before in Ubeda, will have the option to be the ones getting the main award and collect it before the eyes of hundreds of great professionals in the Hollywood industry. A unique experience for the winners of the Jerry Goldsmith and of course, for those who accompany them in this wonderful path.
It has been days, weeks, or rather, very intense months, trying to get the best for these awards. Awards that represent us in all its fullness. Just like the spirit of Jerry Goldsmith, the composer who gives their name to them.
Finally we believed that Úbeda was the factor that we lacked in the formula. Start the Jerry Goldsmith Awards Festival in the place where they were born.
And we also think that the ideal place for a gala of this kind and such media presence, should be the Church of San Lorenzo. A unique place in the world, with which we could count on thanks to the indispensable support of the Huerta de San Antonio Foundation.
