altLa Asociación Internacional de Críticos de Música de Cine (IFMCA) acaba de anunciar los ganadores de sus premios anuales, correspondientes a 2019. Y la banda sonora que recibe el premio gordo no es otra que Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, el score de despedida del maestro John Williams, quien obtiene también el premio al Mejor Score para película de Fantasía, Ciencia-Ficción o Thriller, el de Mejor Recopilación por Across the Stars, el de Mejor Composición por “The Rise of Skywalker”, y el Premio Especial Roberto Ascheri a toda su carrera.

En estos premios no ha sido Hildur Guðnadóttir -ganadora de Oscar, Globo de Oro, Grammy, Emmy y BAFTA- la que se ha hecho con el mayor galardón, ni tampoco con el de Compositor del Año, que va a manos de Bear McCreary, aunque sí consigue el de Mejor Score de TV por Chernobyl. También se llevan premio Alexandre Desplat, Michael Giacchino, Thomas Newman, John Powell, Nainita Desai, Steven Price y Neal Acree. ¡Nuestra enhorabuena a todos!
