Hoy su familia de España, las personas que formamos parte de Film Music Festival y BSOSpirit, hemos amanecido con la muy triste noticia de su partida.

Beth Krakower siempre fue parte de nuestro equipo. Nos ayudó en todo momento. En aquellos más fáciles y exitosos, y en aquellos otros más complicados y donde uno encontraba menos apoyos.
Siempre estaba allí. Como decimos aquí en España, a las duras y las maduras.
Recordamos la primera vez que nos visitó. Fue en Úbeda, allá por el 2011. Venia a España junto a su cliente Bear McCreary. Fue la última edición del Festival en Úbeda. El séptimo año, uno inolvidable que lo fue entre otras muchas cosas gracias a la presencia de Beth, ya desde ese momento parte de nuestra familia y nuestro equipo. Estuvo con nosotros en Úbeda, en PlayFest en Fuengirola, en el Festival de Córdoba y ahora en Málaga en el MOSMA, donde hemos notado poderosamente su ausencia en las últimas ediciones.
Gracias a ella conocimos y disfrutamos de la presencia y el arte de compositores de la talla de Bear McCreary, Craig Safan, Cliff Martinez, Peter Bernstein, Rolfe Kent, Kevin Kliesch, Tyler Bates o Jeff Beal.
Gracias a ella pudimos armar juntos a otros grandes hermanos de esta familia, proyectos que jamás olvidaremos. Y por eso, hoy es un día muy triste. Es por eso que queremos mantener un luto en claro recuerdo a su memoria el día de hoy.
Beth, allá donde estés, siempre sonará buena música de cine. Aquella que tú siempre fomentabas con tu trabajo, profesionalidad, pasión y fuerza.
Siempre estaremos contigo. Siempre estarás en nuestros corazones, pensamientos y proyectos.
Y jamás, jamás, te olvidaremos.
¡Que la fuerza te acompañe allí donde te encuentres!

Today her family from Spain, all of us who are part of  Film Music Festival and BSOSpirit, have woken up to the very sad news of her departure.
 
Beth Krakower was always part of our team. She helped us at all times. In those easy and successful, and in those more daunting and complex, where one found less support.
 
She was always there. As we say here in Spain, «a las duras y a las maduras» (for better or worse).
 
We remember the first time she visited us. It was in Úbeda, back in 2011. She came to Spain with her client Bear McCreary. It was the last edition of the Festival in Úbeda. The seventh year, an unforgettable one, because of many things, but specially because of Beth’s attendance, from that moment part of our family and our team. She was with us in Úbeda, in PlayFest in Fuengirola, in the Córdoba Festival and now in Málaga in the MOSMA, where we have strongly felt her absence and deeeply missed her in recent editions.
 
Thanks to her we met and enjoyed the attendance and art of composers such as Bear McCreary, Craig Safan, Cliff Martinez, Peter Bernstein, Rolfe Kent, Kevin Kliesch, Tyler Bates or Jeff Beal.
 
Thanks to her we were able to bring together other great brothers of this family, achieve projects that we will never forget. And so, today is a very sad day. That is why we mourn and remember Beth today.
 
Beth, wherever you are, great movie music will always sound. Music which you always encouraged with your work, professionalism, passion and strength.
 
We will always be with you. You will always be in our hearts, thoughts and projects.
 
And never, never, we will forget you.
