I wish I had the time to really keep the site updated. Unfortunately it’s more an opportunity thing rather than a schedule thing. I’ve been very lucky to have the support from some talented writers: Tim Perrine, Mike Lyons, John Mullin and Paul Cote. I can’t review everything, and I am very protective of Cinemusic – but I trust these guys. If I could only get their reviews online as fast as they write them...! |

All of the above! At FSM we built our readership with daily content, that is then archived and easy to find (we hope!). I guess content is king! |

Content is king. If you provide continuous, strong writing, then readers will follow. Luckily, Filmtracks has the advantage of maintaining readership even when the content is weak (everyone writes a bad review occasionally) because of its longevity. In the era of the Internet, longevity is very important, and if you can continue to offer content for 8 - 10 years, then the traffic and loyalty to the site will remain no matter the consistency of the content's quality or schedule. Most importantly, don't be afraid to irritate people... including readers, composers, and labels. Enjoy the death threats! |

Simply to take care. Actually listen to a CD enough times to form a considered judgement when writing a review. |

Staying up to date with news and reviews as far as possible. Obviously I primarily work on the print edition. |

A lot of things. Content, updates, design, technology. Hard to pick one thing, but I suppose it's content. No one would visit a really nice looking page with cool functions, but without content. |
